I am glad I found you all again, was getting a little scared when the previous forum went down. Here's an update of where we are with the visa regulations.

I have got a company called Belarus Travel Service to book me a hotel in Minsk for 19-22 November. I need to sort out payment so I can get an invitation. Does anyone know Belarus Travel Service (www.hotelsbelarus.com/) - are they a good company?

Once I get the invitation, I will book flights and travel to London (hopefully on Thursday) to get the visas. Things are a bit tight but I am hoping everything will be sorted out so we can still come. I'll keep you informed ^^

BelarusTourService is an old company with good history.

Hotels (if you want to use them) - Byelorussia, Planeta, Yubileinaya - is the best choice.

Flats for rent is sometimes better than hotels =) Costs from 50 USD...

I can transfer you from airport for no cost =) Taxi is expensive.

Кстати остальные граждане участники! Может давайте программу приготовим для гостей забугорных.

Минск показывать - забот на полдня. Что еще можно показать? Белорусскую кухню допустим я смогу организовать =) А вот всё остальное... Вопрос сложный.

Народа двое будет? Как возить будем? У меня только два пассажира лезет в машину. и один штурман он же по возможности нормально англоговорящий рассказыватель.

Минск-Несвиж-Мир-Новогрудок-Городище-Брест-Минск ~850 км В теории при средней скорости 120-140 у меня расход будет в районе 10-14 литров на сотню. Итого минимум 200К на бензин. Мудрый не обессудь но в твою машину сажать гостей забугорных стыдно.

What do you want to see in Minsk and Belarus? Belorussian cuisine? Historic places? ???

Спокойствие, Грифон, мы тут уже до того много чего напридумывали. И, в конце-концов, компанией это все вроде как собираемся провести, а не "вот я их на машине прокачу".

Отлично. За исключением того что мне не ведомо что вы придумали. Опять же заставлять гостей ходить пешком - милости просим =) Больше не приедут.

I have booked the flights to travel to Belarus now. We arrive at Minsk International 2 at 23.35 on Friday 19th and leave at 13.20 on Monday 22nd. I have also booked the hotel - we will be staying at the Planeta.

Thanks for the kind offer of driving us from the airport to the hotel, Тень, but to satisfy the visa requirements, we need to get a transit organised by Belarus Travel Service. I am going to the Belarus embassy in London on Thursday to sort the visas out.

I would like to experience Belarusian cuisine, definitely, and also have a look around the sights of Minsk. If we can get into rural Belarus too, that would be brilliant but we only have a few days so we can't be too ambitious. What do you suggest doing in Minsk?

We are free all day Saturday and Sunday so it will be great to meet up with some of you. Saturday is my birthday too, so I am hoping it will be a great day ^^

вроде-бы где-то на хард-диске были, надо будет поискать (просто у меня комп что чулан - всё забито, и нужно время, чтобы найти нужное). Как найду - обязательно выложу
